A Little Bit about Blossom

Blossom has always been one of those REALLY SPECIAL Does. She is one of those does that you can call her name in a crowd or at a fair, and she knows it. 

Blossom took her first grand as a junior. For 3 years after that I tried to get her bred but could not. She was one that would absolutely FREAK OUT if put in with a buck no matter how strong of a heat she was in. I was so frustrated with her that one day I actually put her in with THREE bucks thinking that ONE would get her - and it still did not happen.  We ran her through the shot process a few times - to no avail. Then for whatever reason,  shockingly she DID get bred one day.  On that day all I did was give her a cysterellon shot. At 4 years old she had her first kids - twin does. She gave me my FIRST Belly banded baby - Aviara Rose, who takes after mom in every way in personality. I call her daughter Avi my "pocket pet".  Her other daughter Sonora Rose is owned by Clear Valley Farm/RNJ's Kids. Blossom had absolutely no trouble having those babies and nursed them for 13 months!

Blossom always did very well in the show ring as noted before. When she did not win a championship in her class she was usually right at the top of her class anyway. However because she nursed those does for 13 months, it took  alot out of her, so I did not show her for almost 2 years.  Fall 2008 I brought her out and she preceded to get 3 reserve grands and a grand in just a few shows. Then in March 09, she finished at 5 1/2 years old!

Blossom  had a fantastic show record and became a PGCH at 5 1/2 years old
