- what an impact!
Patrick
came to us when we were NOT looking for a buck!
Jane Bielawski of Just One More, was interested
in a buck kid that we had for sale and wondered
if we would be interested in trading buck kid
for buck kid. Although we did not
"need" him, when we saw him, we fell
in love! He was all of 5 weeks old.
Little
did we know what an incredible influence this
buck would have in shaping our future! He
started to stamp his kids with beautiful heads,
incredible animation, fantastic rear angulation,
femininity in does - the list goes on! Patrick
defined our ideal pygmy goat. Today, a HUGE
number of our animals have links back to
Patrick.
To
date (2/2009), Patrick has sired FIVE PGCH kids
and NUMEROUS other kids with grands, reserve
grands, etc on them. His kids have been very
consistent in the ring, and as the generations
continue to come, they all still have his
"mark" on them, and only get better.
We
will be forever grateful to Jane for making that
trade happen!
